vegan waffles


ahhh the smell of fresh waffles, there's nothing better on a Saturday morning. See for yourselves! 


  • 1 and 1/4 cup (156g) All Purpose Flour

  • 2 tsp Baking Powder

  • 1/4 tsp Salt

  • 3 Tbsp Sugar

  • 1 and 1/4 cup (300ml) Soy Milk (or other non-dairy milk)

  • 2 Tbsp Coconut Oil

  • 2 tsp Vanilla Extract



1. Turn your waffle iron on and prepare the butter for spreading. (to make sure the batter doesn't stick!)

2. Add the flour into a large bowl with the baking soda, salt, and sugar and gently mix.

3. Then, add the non-dairy milk, coconut oil (or melted vegan butter) and vanilla extract, and whisk with a whisking tool or hand mixer. 

4. Pour some of the batter, using a spatula, into the waffle iron, close it and wait for 2-3 minutes. Each waffle iron is different, you may need to make personal adjustments to the time.  

5. Add some butter over the finished waffles, top it off with some fresh fruits and maple syrup and voila!

6. Ready to enjoy!!
